CAR Committees and their Volunteer Leaders and Members are the lifeblood of our Association.  They initiate, design, organize and implement the programs and services provided by our Association to our Members and the Public-at-Large. By joining a Committee, you not only have a say in how the Association operates, but enjoy the networking benefits that come with interacting and working with your fellow REALTOR® and Affiliate Members.

  • ADMIN & OPERATIONS COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Establish & review Board Operations Policies
 
  • AFFILIATE COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Organize CAR Affiliate member events and activities
 
  • AWARDS COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Organize CAR Affiliate member events and activities
 
  • BYLAWS COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Prepare revisions and amendments to the Bylaws and Policies & Procedures
 
  • COMMUNITY OUTREACH COMMITTEE
    Purpose:Develop and implement events and programs to benefit the community
 
  • EDUCATION COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Provide educational courses and seminar as a benefit to Members
 
  • FINANCE COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Monitor income and expenditures
 
  • GOLF COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Plan, organize, and implement the annual CAR Golf Tournament
 
  • GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS & ACTION COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Keeping REALTOR® Members abreast of legislative issues at the local, state and national level
 
  • IDEA COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Develop and recommend policy promoting equal opportunity in housing and diversity within the real estate industry.
  • LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Identify & encourage all members to become involved in Association Leadership
 
  • MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Source new and retain existing membership
 
  • MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Plan and implement the annual MMDC Event
 
  • NOMINATING COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Responsible for annually nominating a slate of Officers and Directors.
 
  • PAST PRESIDENT COMMITTEE
    Purpose:Past Presidents staying in touch with activities of the Board of Directors and CAR.
 
  • RPAC COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Encourage RPAC contributions in support of REALTOR® Party legislative prioities
 
  • SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Provide Scholarships to deserving local college students recommended by Members
 
  • STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Set the short and long-term strategy
 
  • TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Provide information on emerging trends in technology
 
  • YPN COMMITTEE
    Purpose: Maintain a networking group of professionals
