What are annual membership fees? −

Membership fees are billed annually and are due on October 1 each year. Members joining after October 1 will be assessed prorated dues based on the month they join.

What is new member orientation? +

All new REALTOR® members must complete New Member Orientation within the first 90 days of joining the association. Sign up through our Education Calendar.

This orientation will also cover your required Code of Ethics Training and Fair Housing / Anti-Bias Training.

Can I join Cobb REALTORS® if my broker is not a member? +

Agents must hold primary REALTOR® membership through the association where their firm’s principal or managing broker maintains REALTOR® membership.

After establishing primary membership, agents may join other REALTOR® associations as secondary members, even if their principal or managing broker is not a member of those associations.

The firm’s principal broker must hold active REALTOR® membership with the Association before membership may be granted to any affiliated licensees.
What does primary membership mean? +

Primary membership is an accounting term indicating that you are paying your National and State dues through that particular REALTOR® association.

What does secondary membership mean? +

Secondary membership is available to REALTORS® who maintain primary membership with another local REALTOR® association and pay their National Association of REALTORS® and state association dues through that association.

As a secondary member, you are only responsible for paying the local dues of the secondary association. Secondary members receive the same local membership benefits, services, and opportunities as primary members.

What is a REALTOR® Emeritus? +

REALTOR® Emeritus status is available to members who have held REALTOR® or REALTOR®-ASSOCIATE membership, or a combination of both, for a cumulative total of 40 years in one or more REALTOR® associations and have served on a National Association of REALTORS® committee for at least one year.

Upon approval by the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS®, REALTOR® Emeritus members are exempt from paying local, state, and national association dues while continuing to enjoy the benefits of membership.
